Declaration of consent for photo and/or film and sound recordings as well as their storage, publication, and dissemination
In the following, the terms "client" and "partner" are used. "Client" refers to the company / association / institution / service commissioning the work. "Partner" refers to a possible umbrella organization / partner institution.
I hereby consent to forStory GmbH, Landwehrstraße 37 RG, 80336 Munich generally taking pictures and/or videos and sound recordings of the performers / participants and using them for publication within the meaning of § 22 KunstUrhG
- on the website and various internet sites of the client
- in print and online publications and on Facebook and other social media channels of the client
- on any portals as well as for websites of the partners, in print and online publications as well as on Facebook and other social media channels of the partners
- on the website www.forstory.de, social media channels as well as in print and other online media of the executing film company forStory GmbH
and may be stored for this purpose by the executing film company and, if applicable, the client's parent institution. The photos and/or video and sound recordings serve the press and public relations work of the client, as well as the institutions participating in the project.
My consent also includes the transmission of the recordings for the aforementioned purpose to the partners for storage and publication by them. The consent extends to all currently known types of publication as well as other copyright usage, neighboring rights, or other rights (e.g., print-related as well as online / internet rights). It also remains valid in the event of the transfer of usage rights to such works for non-commercial use to third parties.
I am aware that photos and/or video and sound recordings can be accessed worldwide on the internet by any person. Despite all technical precautions, it cannot be ruled out that such persons may reuse the photos and/or videos or pass them on to other persons.
I have read and understood the information below in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR.
This declaration of consent is voluntary and can be revoked at any time with effect for the future vis-à-vis the client or forStory GmbH. If the recordings are available on the internet, they will be removed, to the extent possible.
I do not derive any rights (e.g., compensation) from the consent to the storage, reproduction, publication, and transfer of usage rights.
Data protection information regarding the production and use of photo and/or video and sound recordings according to Art. 13 GDPR

2. Purpose of processing:
The photos and/or videos serve for the internal documentation and external marketing of the client and their partners.
3. Legal basis for processing:
The processing of photos and/or videos (collection, storage, and transfer to third parties (see below under 5.) is based on the explicit consent of the data subject, thus in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter a GDPR. The publication of selected photo and video files in (print and online) publications of the client, on their websites / Facebook accounts, etc., as well as in the press, is necessary for the public relations work of the client and the project participants and thus serves the legitimate interests of the parties involved, Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter f GDPR.
4. Categories of recipients of personal data:
The photos and/or videos are transmitted or forwarded to the project participants for the purpose of public relations work. For these purposes, they may be posted on their websites and used for their Facebook pages, etc. There may also be a transmission to the institutionalized press.
5. Duration of storage of personal data:
Photos and/or videos made for the purposes of press and public relations work of the aforementioned parties are stored for an indefinite period subject to revocation of the data subject's consent.
6. Right of withdrawal of consent:
Consent to the processing of photos and/or videos can be withdrawn at any time for the future. The lawfulness of data processing carried out on the basis of consent until withdrawal is not affected by this.
7. Data transfer:
If the participant gives their consent, the client is entitled to pass on the following information about the institution or organization for the purpose of contact: institution/organization, address, contact details (telephone, fax), internet address, type of organization, education sector(s).
8. Data subject rights:
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:
a) If your personal data are processed, you have the right to obtain information about the data stored about you. (Art. 15 GDPR)
b) If incorrect personal data are processed, you have the right to correction. (Art. 16 GDPR)
c) If the legal requirements are met, you can demand deletion or restriction of processing and object to processing. (Art. 17, 18, 21 GDPR)
d) If you have consented to data processing or if there is a contract for data processing and data processing is carried out using automated procedures, you may have the right to data portability. (Art. 20 GDPR)
If you exercise these rights, the responsible party will check whether the legal requirements are met. Furthermore, there is a right to lodge a complaint with the data protection officer of the Bavarian State Commissioner for Data Protection.
